Eclipse started out as a project with Erik and Anders Berlin (Drums/Keyboards) in 1999. They soon got
signed to Z Records as Erik Mårtensson Band but then changed the name to Eclipse.

I first joined the band as a live drummer so Anders could concentrate on the keyboards.
When it was time to do a second album Anders quit and I became a full member of the band.
From the begining Andreas Passmark (now with Royal Hunt) was the bass player but quit to join Narnia.
Fredrik Folkare then joined on bass.
During the recordings of the new album we had no permanent keyboard player so we were fortunate
to have ex-Yngwie Malmsteen man Mats Olausson playing on the album.

We started the recordings in November 2001 and the album finally got released in April 2004
on Frontiers records. Anders Berlin's older brother Johan joined on keyboards and we did some gigs
but no full tour. We once supported legendary singer Graham Bonnet on one gig.

In late 2006 I quit the band. There were to many issues within the band and we never got the
band going. Lack of comunication I would say.

In April 2014 I did a temporary return to the band. I did one gig at the Frontiers Rock Festival
in Milan. It felt like coming home.
